Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autoportrait avec Leila, 1951 by Édouard Boubat was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in July 2021. The price achieved of EUR 3,528.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Édouard Boubat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lella, 1948 in November 2006 with an auction result of EUR 76,460.00.

Die Arbeit Autoportrait avec Leila, 1951 von Édouard Boubat kam im Juli 2021 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.528,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Édouard Boubat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lella, 1948 im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 76.460,00.
