In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Spring Along the Water sold for USD 11,352.50 (€ 11,588.91) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edmund William Greacen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Day At The Beach, Watch Hill in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 78,000.00 (€ 64,255.70).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Edmund William Greacen erzielte im Juli 2002 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture wurde die Arbeit Spring Along the Water für USD 11.352,50 (€ 11.588,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edmund William Greacen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Day At The Beach, Watch Hill im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 78.000,00 (€ 64.255,70).
