In the American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Enjoying Sunset After A Long Day'S Hunt changed hands for USD 21,250.00 (€ 16,063.19) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edmund Henry Osthaus have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hunting in the Fall - Three Pointers in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 180,000.00 (€ 136,394.64).
