Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Edmund Garvey could be acquired at Sothebys in London in May 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Paintings auction, the work An Extensive View Of Rome And The River Tiber changed hands for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,360.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edmund Garvey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A view of Lake Geneva with the Mont Salève and Le Môle, the Mont Blanc beyond in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 41,196.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edmund Garvey konnte im Mai 2012 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
