The work The Four Seasons by Edmund Thomas Parris was sold in the Important British Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,270.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Four Seasons is the most expensive artwork by Edmund Thomas Parris that we have observed at auctions so far.
