Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tall Ships In A Harbor by Edmond-Marie Petitjean was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2008. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 5,556.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edmond-Marie Petitjean - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ships in a Port, which sold at auction in May 2000 for USD 18,800.00 (€ 20,154.37).

Die Arbeit Tall Ships In A Harbor von Edmond-Marie Petitjean wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 5.556,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00.
