Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle, which included the work Path By The Seaside by Edmond-Marie Petitjean. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Edmond-Marie Petitjean have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2000 the work Ships in a Port was auctioned for USD 18,800.00 (€ 20,154.37).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden.
