It achieved a price of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,971.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Edmond-Marie Petitjean; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ships in a Port sold at auction in May 2000 with the realized price of USD 18,800.00 (€ 20,154.37).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.971,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Edmond-Marie Petitjean; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ships in a Port im Mai 2000 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 18.800,00 (€ 20.154,37).
