Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 227.05 (€ 203.99). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edmond Céria achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paris, La Seine Au Pont Des Arts in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 3,700.00.

Die Arbeit Still Life With Walnuts von Edmond Céria kam im April 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 227,05 (€ 203,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edmond Céria erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paris, La Seine Au Pont Des Arts im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.700,00.
