It achieved a price of CHF 7,500.00 (€ 4,922.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Edmund Bille have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vue de Miège, 1907 in October 2017 with an auction result of CHF 32,500.00 (€ 27,991.07).

Die Arbeit Chandolin, 1907 Chandolin, 1907 von Edmund Bille kam im Juni 2009 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CHF 7.500,00 (€ 4.922,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edmund Bille auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vue de Miège, 1907 im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 32.500,00 (€ 27.991,07).
