Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Santa Marguerita by Edgard Tytgat was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2008. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edgard Tytgat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Espionne in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 108,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Santa Marguerita von Edgard Tytgat kam im Juni 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edgard Tytgat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Espionne im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 108.000,00.
