The work Near Choggia on the Adriatic by Edgar Alwin Payne was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in November this year. It achieved a price of USD 12,800.00 (€ 11,734.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edgar Alwin Payne achieve.
