Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 24,320.00 (€ 22,295.56) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edgar Alwin Payne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Mesa, Monument Valley, Utah in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 289,000.00 (€ 185,637.20).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 24.320,00 (€ 22.295,56) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edgar Alwin Payne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Mesa, Monument Valley, Utah im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 289.000,00 (€ 185.637,20).
