Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February this year Bonhams held the auction Vintage Posters Online, which included the work La Cité. Carcassonne by E. Paul Champseix. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 701.25 (€ 799.87). Admittedly, works by E. Paul Champseix have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bandol in April 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,905.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Vintage Posters Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Cité. Carcassonne von E. Paul Champseix zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 701,25 (€ 799,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von E. Paul Champseix auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bandol im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.905,89).
