Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2024 Bonhams in London held the auction Vintage Posters, which included the work Biarritz by E. Paul Champseix. The price achieved of GBP 640.00 (€ 1,071.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by E. Paul Champseix have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bandol in April 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,905.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2024 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Biarritz von E. Paul Champseix zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 640,00 (€ 1.071,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von E. Paul Champseix auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bandol im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.905,89).
