The work Portrait Of A Lady by Bernhard von Guérard was sold in the Important Miniatures from a Private Collection auction at Sothebys in London in April 2008. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,500.00 (€ 5,736.86), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Bernhard von Guérard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Maria Ludovika, Archduchess Of Austria-Este, Empresses Of Austria (1787-1816), Circa 1808 in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,411.20).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady von Bernhard von Guérard wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Important Miniatures from a Private Collection bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.500,00 (€ 5.736,86) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernhard von Guérard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait Of Maria Ludovika, Archduchess Of Austria-Este, Empresses Of Austria (1787-1816), Circa 1808 im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.411,20).
