Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Dullah achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction, the work Portrait Of A Balinese Lady sold for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,211.07) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dullah achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Barong Dance in Bali in November this year with an auction result of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 325,280.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dullah erzielte im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Portrait Of A Balinese Lady für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.211,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dullah erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Barong Dance in Bali im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 325.280,53).
