Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bunga (Flower) by Dullah was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2020. The price achieved of HKD 23,750.00 (€ 2,727.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dullah achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Barong Dance in Bali in November this year with an auction result of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 325,280.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bunga (Flower) von Dullah wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 23.750,00 (€ 2.727,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dullah erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Barong Dance in Bali im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 325.280,53).
