Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2006 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction 20th Century British and Irish Art, which included the work Screens And Scatter by Druie Bowett. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,425.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Druie Bowett - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Industrial Constructions, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,385.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2006 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion 20th Century British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Screens And Scatter von Druie Bowett zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.425,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Druie Bowett mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Industrial Constructions beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.385,87) versteigert wurde.
