In September 2017 Christies in New York held the auction The Collection of Paul F. Walter, which included this untitled work by Dorothy Dehner. The auction ended at the price of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,232.63), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dorothy Dehner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Septenarius in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 100,800.00 (€ 86,545.89).

Im September 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Collection of Paul F. Walter durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dorothy Dehner zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.232,63) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dorothy Dehner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Septenarius im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 86.545,89).
