Sold at the upper estimate price
In May last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "CROTON#3" by Dorothy Dehner. The auction ended at the price of SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,862.73), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dorothy Dehner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Septenarius in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 100,800.00 (€ 86,545.89).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "CROTON#3" von Dorothy Dehner zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.862,73) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dorothy Dehner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Septenarius im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 86.545,89).
