However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dorothy Dehner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Septenarius, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 100,800.00 (€ 86,545.89).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 25.395,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Dorothy Dehner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Septenarius beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 100.800,00 (€ 86.545,89) versteigert wurde.
