Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CAD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of CAD 16,800.00 (€ 12,062.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Doris McCarthy have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Iceberg Fantasy #28 was auctioned for CAD 30,000.00 (€ 21,540.07).
