This artwork by Dora M. Batty achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2010. In the Travel and Vintage Posters auction, the work Daffodils Are Blooming sold for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,792.50) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dora M. Batty; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot R.A.F Display sold at auction in October 2012 with the realized price of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 2,020.40).
