Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2011 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Anjali Dance Company by Dora Holzhandler. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,126.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Dora Holzhandler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Young lovers in August 2007 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,966.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Anjali Dance Company von Dora Holzhandler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.126,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dora Holzhandler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Young lovers im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.966,97).
