Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Spazzacamino by Donato Barcaglia for EUR 1,200.00. This price was achieved in the auction XIX and XX Century Sculptures and Paintings | Furniture and Old Master Paintings at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,600.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donato Barcaglia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Amore Accieca (Love Blinded) in May 2004 with an auction result of AUD 167,300.00 (€ 97,748.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spazzacamino von Donato Barcaglia für EUR 1.200,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion XIX and XX Century Sculptures and Paintings | Furniture and Old Master Paintings bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.600,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Donato Barcaglia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Amore Accieca (Love Blinded) im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 167.300,00 (€ 97.748,01).
