The work Amore Accieca (Love Blinded) by Donato Barcaglia was sold in the THE JOHN SCHAEFFER COLLECTION AT RONA auction at Christies in Sydney in May 2004. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 167,300.00 (€ 97,748.01). With this result, Amore Accieca (Love Blinded) is even the most expensive work of art by Donato Barcaglia that we have observed at auctions so far.
