Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Outside The Laundry by Donald Teague for USD 11,250.00 (€ 7,775.78). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Donald Teague - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Wedding Party, which sold at auction in February 2019 for USD 23,364.00 (€ 20,532.56).
