The work Yoko Xii (Twin) by Don Brown was sold in the Reborn: Modern and Contemporary auction at Christies in Milan in May 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,625.00 52% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Don Brown - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yoko XVI - 2006, which sold at auction in June this year for EUR 39,360.00.

Die Arbeit Yoko Xii (Twin) von Don Brown wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Reborn: Modern and Contemporary bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.625,00 und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Don Brown mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yoko XVI - 2006 beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für EUR 39.360,00 versteigert wurde.
