A top price for Domingo Ramos - as previously expected
The work Barranca De Rio Los Palacios by Domingo Ramos was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. The price achieved of USD 91,000.00 (€ 61,955.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Barranca De Rio Los Palacios is the most expensive artwork by Domingo Ramos that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Barranca De Rio Los Palacios von Domingo Ramos wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 91.000,00 (€ 61.955,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Barranca De Rio Los Palacios das teuerste Kunstwerk von Domingo Ramos, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
