Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February this year Bonhams held the auction Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art, which included the work Untitled (Paisaje) 29 3/4 x 39 9/16 in (75.5 x 100.5 cm) by Domingo Ramos. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,375.00 (€ 6,013.02). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domingo Ramos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Barranca De Rio Los Palacios in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 91,000.00 (€ 61,955.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Paisaje) 29 3/4 x 39 9/16 in (75.5 x 100.5 cm) von Domingo Ramos zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.375,00 (€ 6.013,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domingo Ramos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Barranca De Rio Los Palacios im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 91.000,00 (€ 61.955,34).
