In July 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection, which included the work Recto: Study Of A Draped Standing Female Figure; Verso: Study Of The Head Of A Bearded Man Seen Almost In Profile by Domenico Zampieri. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,140.11) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Zampieri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint John the Evangelist in December 2009 with an auction result of GBP 9,225,250.00 (€ 10,406,406.42).

Im Juli 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings including French Masterworks from the Dormeuil Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Recto: Study Of A Draped Standing Female Figure; Verso: Study Of The Head Of A Bearded Man Seen Almost In Profile von Domenico Zampieri zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.140,11) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Zampieri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Saint John the Evangelist im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.225.250,00 (€ 10.406.406,42).
