Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in London held the auction Old Masterand British Pictures, which included the work Portrait of A Venetian Senator, Bust-Length by Domenico Robusti. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,358.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Robusti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A group portrait of four Venetian senators, bust-length in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 341,000.00 (€ 398,684.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masterand British Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of A Venetian Senator, Bust-Length von Domenico Robusti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.358,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Robusti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A group portrait of four Venetian senators, bust-length im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 341.000,00 (€ 398.684,33).
