Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Portrait Of The Doge Giovanni Bembo by Domenico Robusti. The price achieved of USD 46,875.00 (€ 36,029.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Robusti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A group portrait of four Venetian senators, bust-length in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 341,000.00 (€ 398,684.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of The Doge Giovanni Bembo von Domenico Robusti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 46.875,00 (€ 36.029,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Robusti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A group portrait of four Venetian senators, bust-length im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 341.000,00 (€ 398.684,33).
