The work Recto: Study Of A Bed-Post In The Shape Of A Triton; Verso: Head Of A Nun by Domenico Maria Canuti was sold in the Old Master Drawings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2013. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,821.70), 52% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Maria Canuti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alexander and Bucephalus in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 83,688.48).

Die Arbeit Recto: Study Of A Bed-Post In The Shape Of A Triton; Verso: Head Of A Nun von Domenico Maria Canuti wurde im Januar 2013 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
