Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Knabe mit Blumen. by Domenico Maggiotto was auctioned at Koller in March 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 4,125.00 (€ 3,856.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Domenico Maggiotto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Avarice; and The pleasure of smoke and drink in December 2008 with an auction result of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 32,821.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Knabe mit Blumen. von Domenico Maggiotto kam im März 2017 bei Koller zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 4.125,00 (€ 3.856,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Domenico Maggiotto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Avarice; and The pleasure of smoke and drink im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 32.821,59).
