Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Old Master Pictures auction, the work Joseph interpreting the dreams of Pharaoh's Butler and Baker changed hands for GBP 9,400.00 (€ 15,363.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Domenico Maggiotto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avarice; and The pleasure of smoke and drink, which sold at auction in December 2008 for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 32,821.59).
