Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,560.00 (€ 6,607.24). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico Cresti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bathers At San Niccolo in January 2017 with an auction result of USD 732,500.00 (€ 678,617.75).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.560,00 (€ 6.607,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico Cresti erzielen.
