The work A Group Of Rearing Horses by Domenico Campagnola was sold in the Old Master & British Drawings auction at Sothebys in London in July 2014. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,379.57), 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Domenico Campagnola - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Christ in the house of Simon the Pharisee, which sold at auction in January 2005 for USD 144,000.00 (€ 110,353.28).

Die Arbeit A Group Of Rearing Horses von Domenico Campagnola wurde im Juli 2014 in der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 28.379,57) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Domenico Campagnola mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Christ in the house of Simon the Pharisee beobachtet, die im Januar 2005 für USD 144.000,00 (€ 110.353,28) versteigert wurde.
