Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary East, which included the work Marlon Brando (Diptych) by Dmitry Vrubel. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 21,058.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dmitry Vrubel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fraternal Kiss (Triptych), which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 45,000.00 (€ 54,151.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marlon Brando (Diptych) von Dmitry Vrubel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 21.058,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Dmitry Vrubel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fraternal Kiss (Triptych) beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 45.000,00 (€ 54.151,48) versteigert wurde.
