A top price for Dmitry Vrubel - as previously expected
The work Fraternal Kiss (Triptych) by Dmitry Vrubel was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 45,000.00 (€ 54,151.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Fraternal Kiss (Triptych) is the most expensive artwork by Dmitry Vrubel that we have observed at auctions so far.
