Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greeting card: Four Seasons by Dmitry Stelletsky was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,701.55) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dmitry Stelletsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De L'Aube À La Nuit in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 401,000.00 (€ 544,538.72).
