Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2004 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work Madrid, 1949 by Dimitri Kessel. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 700.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of USD 717.00 (€ 595.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Dimitri Kessel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2007 the work Picasso Et L'Enfant Aux Colombes, Circa 1953 was auctioned for EUR 744.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Madrid, 1949 von Dimitri Kessel zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 717,00 (€ 595,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Dimitri Kessel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2007 die Arbeit Picasso Et L'Enfant Aux Colombes, Circa 1953 für EUR 744,00 versteigert.
