Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von NLG 3.510,60 (€ 1.644,66) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dirk Verrijk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Pair Of Views Of The Castle Of Loenersloot im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.763,43).
