In December 2019 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Ohne Titel by Dirk Skreber. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,637.66), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Skreber achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gelb Lok (Yellow Locomotive) in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 497,600.00 (€ 387,750.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2019 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ohne Titel von Dirk Skreber zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.637,66) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Skreber erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gelb Lok (Yellow Locomotive) im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 497.600,00 (€ 387.750,33).
