Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Waterlandschap by Dirk Nijland was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2004. The price achieved of EUR 1,015.75 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Dirk Nijland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Netten bij Laag Water in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 6,572.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waterlandschap von Dirk Nijland wurde im September 2004 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.015,75 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dirk Nijland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Netten bij Laag Water im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.572,50.
