Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work A still life with roses in a vase and a coffee set on a table by Dirk Nijland. The price achieved of NLG 940.00 (€ 435.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Nijland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Netten bij Laag Water in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 6,572.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with roses in a vase and a coffee set on a table von Dirk Nijland zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 940,00 (€ 435,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Nijland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Netten bij Laag Water im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.572,50.
