Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A forest path by Dirk Filarski was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2010. The price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Filarski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alpenglooien; the Alps in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 27,400.00.

Die Arbeit A forest path von Dirk Filarski kam im September 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Filarski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alpenglooien; the Alps im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.400,00.
