Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, which included the work Tulpen; tulips by Dirk Filarski. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dirk Filarski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alpenglooien; the Alps in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 27,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tulpen; tulips von Dirk Filarski zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dirk Filarski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alpenglooien; the Alps im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.400,00.
