Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Abstract & Contemporary Art, which included the work Paysage Bord De Mer by Dino Abidin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 300.00 – 400.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 308.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dino Abidin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bouquet De Fleurs in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 11,153.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Abstract & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage Bord De Mer von Dino Abidin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 300,00 – 400,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 308,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dino Abidin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bouquet De Fleurs im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.153,00.
